No, we do not have a strict MOQ. Our mission is to help creators bring their ideas to life, so we utilize flexible hand-made custom processes and accept orders as small as 1 piece.

Ideally, we prefer 3D model files in STL or OBJ formats.

Supported Formats: We also accept .stp (.step), .ply, .3mf, .igs (.iges), .dae, and .wrl files.

Design Tip: Since 3D design requires detailed communication, we recommend working with a local design studio to finalize your 3D file before sending it to us. This ensures the design perfectly matches your vision.

Alternatives: We also accept detailed hand-drawn sketches with dimensions, though this may incur additional design fees.

The total cost follows this formula:

One-time Investment: The first three items (Design, Prototyping, Tooling) are one-time fixed costs. For future re-orders of the same mold, you do not need to pay these fees again; you only pay the unit price.

The cost mainly depends on the following three core factors:

• 1. Mold Size & Material Consumption
  • Master Pattern Cost: Larger models require more 3D printing photosensitive resin, and the time for printing and post-processing (sanding and polishing) will also increase exponentially.
  • Silicone Usage: Larger products require a larger mold casing, consuming more silicone raw material.
• 2. Structure & Design Complexity
  • Undercuts & Parting: If the design includes complex undercuts or hollows, we need to design complex “3D parting lines” or create “multi-piece molds” to ensure successful demolding, which significantly increases engineering design hours.
  • Texture Details: Extremely tiny surface textures (such as hair or skin texture) require higher precision 3D printing equipment and finer manual surface treatment to prevent loss of detail.
• 3. Cavity Count
  • Single-Cavity Mold (1 Cavity): Small mold size, lowest initial investment, suitable for prototyping or small batch trial production.
  • Multi-Cavity Mold (Multi-Cavity): Although the mold is larger and the cost is higher, a single pour can produce multiple products (such as 1-out-of-4, 1-out-of-8), which can greatly reduce your subsequent production time costs and labor costs, suitable for long-term mass production.

Mold lifespan depends on the casting material and usage:

• Non-corrosive Materials (Soap, Wax, Plaster, Chocolate): Extremely long lifespan, typically lasting hundreds or even thousands of casts without deformation.
• Corrosive Materials (Epoxy Resin, Concrete): Due to the chemical heat generated during curing which accelerates silicone aging, lifespan is typically 30-100 casts.

*Tip: Using a mold release agent and regular maintenance can significantly extend the mold’s life.

We offer flexible shipping solutions based on your order volume:

• Small/Urgent Orders (Express): Global air delivery via DHL, FedEx, or UPS. Terms are usually DAP (Delivered At Place, recipient pays duties), with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) available for select countries.
• Bulk Orders (Sea/Air Freight): Cost-effective dedicated sea or air freight lines. We highly recommend DDP Sea Shipping (Delivered Duty Paid), which includes duties and customs clearance for the lowest total cost and peace of mind.
• *Own Forwarder: If you have a freight forwarder in China, we fully support EXW or FOB terms.

To maximize your mold’s lifespan, please follow these tips:

• Cleaning: Wash gently with warm water and mild soap after each use. Do not use strong solvents (like acetone) or abrasive pads to avoid damaging the glossy interior.
• Storage: Store the mold flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not stack heavy objects on top or fold it to prevent permanent deformation.
• Usage: Avoid using sharp tools inside the mold. For corrosive materials (like resin or concrete), using a mold release agent is recommended.

To protect both parties, please note these key terms:

• Payment: Custom services require full payment before production. As molds are made exclusively for you and cannot be resold, orders cannot be changed or cancelled once confirmed and started.
• Disclaimer: Our molds are handmade. Minor cosmetic imperfections on the outer surface (e.g., slight bubbles or parting lines) that do not affect the internal quality or final product are not considered defects. Also, demolding is a skill; we do not accept refund requests for “demolding difficulties” or damage caused by improper use/maintenance.
• Shipping Claims: If a package is lost or damaged in transit, please take photos (product & packaging) immediately and contact us to assist with the carrier claim. We cannot directly refund for packages marked “Delivered” but not received, or delays not caused by us, but we will do our best to assist in the investigation.
